Project Management Certificate Program

The Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre has partnered with Procept Associates Ltd. and Laurentian University to deliver a comprehensive project management curriculum. This is an outstanding opportunity for:



  • Project-focused organizations to build their talent base,
  • Future Project Managers on the road to their Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification
  • Existing PMs to maintain their certifications and gain Professional Development Units (PDUs)

The foundation course, Project Management Essentials is compliant with A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and it introduces tools and terminology without overwhelming participants with jargon. The course focuses on developing practical skills that can be applied immediately to increase the level of success on projects. The course is fun, fast-paced, interactive, and adapted as required based on the needs of each audience.

 

This course is also accredited by the Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC) as meeting their standards for quality. After completing this course, participants are eligible to write the Certified Project Coordinator (CPC) exam from PMAC.

 

10 Day Project Management certificate program 

To receive your PM certificate from Laurentian University you must complete 5 mandatory and 5 optional days.

Courses qualify for PDUs from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

    • *PME or equivalent is a prerequisite to all courses except Introduction to Agile and Certified Agile Project Manager.

  • Managing Project Risk

  • Project Communication & Stakeholder Management (1 Day)

These courses will be instructor-led virtual deliveries.
